On 1st September we welcomed Bill & Sue Camomile back to the UK following their circumnavigation…

Their return coincided with their 40th Wedding Anniversary!

Back in Lagos, Portugal for the winter – we enjoyed it so much in 2003 when we sailed there…

The storks were nesting – reminded us that Char and Rachel were also awaiting the birth of their first child due in January!

We caught up with Willi and Gloria (ex Linger Longer) who spend summer in their native Switzerland and winters at Lagos…

We spent many happy days enjoying their company.

Portugal is the main source of the world’s cork and you could see where the tree bark had been harvested…

The cork is air dried before being used.

Before we knew it, Christmas had arrived…

Willi and Gloria joined us for Christmas dinner – entrees on the balcony…
